Leilehua's girls topple Radford in basketball opener

Liz Neishell and Inez Tauvela scored three points each in overtime as Leilehua upset Radford, 47-43, in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Western Division season-opening girls basketball game last night.
Neishell sank 3 of 4 free throws and Tauvela made a basket and free throw for the host Mules, who outscored the Rams 6-2 in the overtime period.
Pikake Nutter-Gaudet led Leilehua with 13 points.
Missy Cordeo hit six 3-pointers and finished with 20 point for Radford, the preseason pick to win the division.
