Tonight's Must-See

"Under One Roof" premiere, 9 p.m., UPN. Here's the start of a seven-week series that sticks to the sunnier side of reality games. Don't expect the punishing heat of the second and third "Survivor" or the snow of "No Boundaries."

Instead, this is filmed amid the beauty of the Fiji Islands. Producers spent $250,000 buying beachfront property and building a house. Five families shared it for three weeks while competing against each other.

"The kids couldn't turn on TV; they couldn't listen to the radio," said host Rob Nelson. "There was no escape. It was, like, 'Be with yourself.' "

One family will win the house. It gets a paradise retreat — if it can afford the $800-per-person airfare. Then again, that family could chuck it all and stay in Fiji.

Of Note

Basketball, 2:30 p.m., CBS. Here's another doubleheader in the NCAA tournament. Then the elite eight battle this weekend.

"Run Lola Run," (1998), 6 & 10 p.m., Bravo. This wickedly inventive and visually stunning German thriller strings together three different 20-minute scenarios documenting a young woman's single attempt to rescue her boyfriend from drug dealers.

"Providence," 7 p.m., NBC. After a long delay (to avoid reruns), this show finally returns. Tonight, Syd visits Los Angeles, the city she escaped in the first episode. She brings along her sister, who suddenly wants to be an actress.

"State of Grace," 6 p.m., ABC Family. Walker is secretly playing piano in a jazz club.

"The Matrix" (1999), 8 p.m., TNT. Here's another chance to see the science-fiction adventure that was a big box-office hit. Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne star.

"Lake Placid" (1999), 9 p.m., USA Network. David E. Kelley, better known for "The Practice" and "Ally McBeal," wrote this movie about an alligator in a lake. Bridget Fonda plays a paleontologist who worries about such things.
