That's a nice wallet you've got there, Gramma
Grown-up grandkids are fun, too, when they come home for the holidays. My grandchildren Matt, 29, and Lissa, 33, were with me in the grocery store when the cashier asked for my membership card. I keep my credit cards, driver's license and other ID in a plastic zipper sandwich bag. Matt said, "Gee, Gramma, is that your wallet?"
"Well, yes, but I've never called it that. I also have a matching coin purse."
Lissa said, "Now I know what to get you for Christmas, Gramma."
"No," I said, "I don't want a heavy, bulky leather wallet."
Lissa said, "Gramma, I meant new plastic bags."
