Fred Masami Kiyabu Jr., 42, has 14 felony convictions for attempted murder, robbery, extortion and weapons offenses.

An associate, fugitive Michael Lee Cregan, was arrested Saturday in Waipahu, said Detective Letha DeCaires of CrimeStoppers.

Kiyabu has a shotgun and has been seen in Honolulu, Waipahu and Salt Lake. He may be driving a stolen dark-colored sport utility vehicle or Dodge pickup.

He is described as 5 feet 7, 140 pounds, medium build, brown hair and eyes, with a slight mustache. He has a tattoo on his right arm.
