Tonight's Must-See

"Friends," 7 p.m. and "ER," 9 p.m., both NBC. At both ends of the lineup there are shows that could, sight unseen, be exceptional. In the last new "Friends" episode, Phoebe searched for a perfect mate with disastrous (and hilarious) results. Then she bumped into a good guy played by Alec Baldwin. Now she has decided he is the one. She is taking him to the Gellers' 35th anniversary party. In the last "ER," things remained in limbo: Dr. Mark Greene had told his old friend, Dr. Susan Lewis, that his brain seizures are recurring. Unfortunately, he still hasn't told his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Corday. Corday moved out of their home because she feels Greene's teen daughter endangers their baby. Tonight, she returns to the emergency room and suspects there's something she doesn't know.

Of Note

"Survivor: Marquesas," 7 p.m., CBS. A fifth person is ousted.

"Post Mortem," 7 p.m., Fox. Tonight, Fox hopes to grab some crime-investigation fans in the hour before "CSI" airs on CBS. This special looks at three real-life cases in which murders were solved.

"Leap of Faith," 7:30 p.m., NBC. When Faith volunteers at a hospital her duties are shifted.

"CSI Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. Nine people die in the crash of a bus that may have been sabotaged.

"The Corruption of the American Child: An 'O'Reilly Factor' special," 8 p.m., Fox. Bill O'Reilly has a ratings-winning show on the Fox News Channel. Tonight, he borrows an hour on a sister network for this look at the influence of music, videos, cable and more.

"Just Shoot Me," 8:30 p.m., NBC. Finch continues to savor his new life as a college student. Meanwhile, Maya learns that her nude image is in Elliott's photo exhibit.
