Work may slow Kahului traffic

KAHULUI, Maui — Motorists are being advised to expect delays while a traffic signal is installed at the Kea Street and Wakea Avenue intersection in Kahului.

Lite Electric of Kahului started the work this week and should be done by the end of September. The $312,000 project includes installation of a traffic signal, sidewalks, curbs, gutters and wheelchair ramps.
