Punahou advances to playoff

Becky Hogue scored 15 points and Punahou celebrated the return of point guard Elyse Umeda to beat University High, 54-38, in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu girls basketball game last night.

Umeda (broken pinkie) returns in time to help lead the Buffanblu against Kamehameha tomorrow night in a playoff for the ILH championship.
