"Musubi Man": This Honolulu Theatre for Youth production, a local take on the "Gingerbread Man" tale, runs a fast-paced 45 minutes and does an excellent job of engaging youngsters by keeping the story action-oriented. Based on a picture book by Sandi Takayama, adapted for the stage by Lee Cataluna; recommended for 3-year-olds and older. 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday and May 11, McCoy Pavilion, Ala Moana Park. $10 general, $7.50 students, $5 kids age 3-12 and seniors over 60. Free for keiki 2 and younger, but they still need a ticket. 839-9885.
"You Can't Take it With You": The 1937 Kaufman and Hart comedy is full of wonderful parts and a large cast that will have you rolling in the aisles. 8 p.m. today and Saturday, and 4 p.m. Sunday at Hawai'i Pacific University Theatre. $14 general; $10 seniors, military, students, HPU staff; $5 HPU students. 375-1282.
