Weekly Thoughts

Our generation enjoys watching sports and games. Someone called it the disease of our times and named it "spectatoritis." Crowds cheer at the football, baseball and basketball games. Great numbers of people fill the movie theaters. The eyes of families are glued to the TV screen. At times it would be better to actively participate in recreation than to merely see others perform. So, take a moment to take an active part in life rather than watching it.

Thoughts by the late Rev. Paul Osumi are selected weekly by his family.
