Teenager stabbed in McCully

A teenage boy was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition after he was stabbed in the McCully area last night following an argument, ambulance and police officials said.

The teen suffered stab wounds to the chest in an assault around 10:15 p.m. in the 500 block of University Avenue, according to police and ambulance officials.

Police said they were searching for the assailant last night. Firefighters said the injured boy was conscious and able to walk before he was taken away by ambulance.
