Tube Notes

Tonight's Must-See

• "Notting Hill," 7 p.m., ABC. Hugh Grant plays a bookstore owner who is shy and charming. Julia Roberts plays a movie star. Neither actor is making a huge stretch here. Then the two collide. In an artsy London neighborhood she needs a place to hide; he's glad to oblige. There's nothing original here, but Grant and Roberts breathe life into this low-key romantic comedy.

Of Note

• "Third Watch," 8 p.m., NBC. Here's more nostalgia with three "Hill Street Blues" veterans. That starts when Taylor learns her dad's body has been found at the World Trade Center site. We meet Taylor's mom (Veronica Hamel), her uncle (Bruce Weitz) and her dad's best friend (Ed Marinaro).

• "Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. This starts a two-parter in which Ray's wife and mom stop talking to each other.

• "The Honeymooners 50th Anniversary Celebration," 9 p.m., CBS. When "The Jackie Gleason Show" first aired in 1952 it offered "Honeymooners" sketches, which became the classic TV show. A half-century later, this hour offers clips and interviews.
