Q. Why did you choose this look?
A. "Denim is big for spring. I wanted something different to follow the trend and yet stand out.
"My hair is sort of anti-establishment. A lot of fashion right now is hippie and bohemian, and it's my statement to have long hair."
Q. What features do you love?
A. "My Gucci jeans are basic and simple, yet different because of the wide leg. Most designers are doing the tapered leg.
"My hair is so versatile. I can wake up and not even style it. I got a straight perm so I can wear it a lot of different ways. If I want big hair, I can have it, or it can be left straight."
Q. Where did you first see the trend?
A. "I saw the jeans in Gucci's window. I've seen the hair in magazines for two or three years now."
Q. Did someone inspire you to seek it out?
A. "I had seen the jeans in a Gucci runway shot, so when I saw them in the window, I had to have them. I saw the perm in the movie 'Queen of the Damned.' It was on actor Stuart Townshend, and he's my style icon for spring."
Q. Are these your dream jeans and haircut, or did you have to compromise?
A. "I try not to compromise."
Q. Where would you wear this look?
A. "Anywhere."
Q. What would you wear with the jeans?
A. "I've never owned a white T-shirt before, but I love this Martin Margiela Studio 10 shirt with the jeans. The Prada desert-colored jacket and shoes tie it all together.
Q. What's a no-no?
A. "Anything with a logo on it. Keep the look simple and pure, and don't mix a colorful or printed shirt with it. Anything baggy or oversized would not look good. And don't wear jeans below the waist no underwear showing!"
