Teen sought in stabbing of man in Ala Wai park

Police are looking for a teenager who stabbed an 18-year-old man Friday night at Ala Wai Neighborhood Park.

An argument broke out about 7:50 p.m., pitting the victim and a friend against the assailant and two other men, police said.

The victim said the attacker, 16 to 18 years old, pulled a knife from his backpack and chased him around the parking lot, stabbing him.

He was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition. Detectives have opened an attempted-murder investigation.
