Chamber group performs Monday

Chamber Music Hawaii, an organization composed of three Honolulu Symphony Orchestra-based chamber ensembles — the Honolulu Brass, the Spring Wind Quintet and the Galliard String Quartet — will present its final concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Honolulu Academy of Arts theater.

Guest artists will include Linda Ryan, actress, and Michael Titterton, Hawaii Public Radio honcho, who will read Edith Sitwell's poetry narration set to Sir William Walton's "Facade." Stuart Chafetz, music director of the Maui Symphony and principal tympanist of the Honolulu Symphony, will conduct the ensembles.

The concert will be broadcast from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. via KHPR 88.1 (Honolulu), KKUA 90.7 (Wailuku) and KANO 91.1 (Hilo). Tickets are $15. For reservations, call 524-0815.
