TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE
"Now with Bill Moyers," 9 p.m., PBS. Why has there been a sharp increase in childhood cancer, asthma and behavioral disabilities? This important probe ranges from Manhattan to two factory towns one in Missouri, the other in the Nevada desert. It finds that many chemicals haven't been tested and some companies simply ignore rules. It also finds occasional victories: The switch to unleaded gas, a scientist says, has raised the typical IQ for American children by three points.
"Reba," 9 and 9:30 p.m., WB. "Reba" has two new episodes. In the first, Reba's ex-husband breaks a promise to be with their son. In the second, their daughter nears two key milestones high school graduation and childbirth.
Of Note
"Girl Next Door: The Search for a Playboy Centerfold," 7 p.m., Fox. Some reality-show contestants have ended up stripping for Playboy. This time that's the show's goal.
"Providence," 7 p.m., NBC. The season finale has Syd still being stalked by a schizophrenic. She might be safe in Owen's apartment, but now there are scares at the clinic. Meanwhile, the pregnant Tina faces a crisis.
