WALTER KIHOI, 79, of Kane'ohe, died May 5, 2002. Born in Waimea, Hawai'i. A heavy equipment operator retired from the City & County of Ho-nolulu. Also executive director of the Oahu Unit of the American Cancer Society. Later advertising manager at Honolulu Magazine and manager of Waikiki Beach Press, Japanese edition. Survived by sister, Betty Crow Hock; daughters, Marilyn Santiago and Diane Ralston; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Graveside service at Lihue Public Cemetery in September.
