It's all about the animals

Animal lovers will be in their element at the 13th annual Hawai'i Pet Expo 2002, which continues 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. The Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association is presenting the expo to promote responsible pet ownership and strengthen the bond between people and their pets. There will be educational displays, demonstrations and the latest in pet products and services. Admission is free. Organizers ask that dogs be leashed, and pets be kept under their owners' control at all times. Call 845-1762 for details.
