Advertiser Staff
Attention all fans of the old M*A*S*H unit.
Already the networks have announced reunion specials for series including "Laverne & Shirley" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show."
Now add "M*A*S*H" to the list: Ten surviving cast members from this long-running comedy gather for a 30th anniversary special that runs at 7 p.m. Friday on Fox.
The two-hour program will include series star Alan Alda ("Hawkeye") and his successive co-stars, Wayne Rogers ("Trapper John") and Mike Farrell (B.J. Hunnicut).
Also on hand will be Loretta Swit, Gary Burghoff, Harry Morgan, David Ogden Stiers, William Christ-opher, Jamie Farr and Alan Arbus.
Based on the hit 1970 film about the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital during the Korean War, "M*A*S*H" (which aired on CBS from 1972 to '83) finished among the top 10 shows for nine of its 11 seasons.
