Services scheduled for Ray Yuen

Funeral services for Raymond H. "Ray" Yuen, former editor of the Hawai'i Tribune Herald, will be held Friday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papa'ikou on the Big Island.

Yuen, who also served as a legislative aide to former U.S. Sen. Hiram Fong, died May 11 in Hilo. He was 87.

Yuen is survived by sons, Christopher and Andrew; daughters, Mary Lou Kobayashi, Lori Sasaki and Julie Cryan; brother, Heeny; sister, Doris Chun, and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation from 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kalaoa Catholic Church cemetery.
