BRITTNEY AIWOHI
Sacred Hearts basketball
Senior scored 27 points in a 51-31 victory over Hawai'i Baptist and 17 points in a 54-51 loss to Iolani in ILH playoff action.

• DANE AWANA
Wai'anae baseball
Pitched a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts to help the Seariders defeat Waipahu, 3-0, and earn the OIA's fifth and final state tournament berth.

• CHRISTOPHER BALATICO
Mililani baseball
Pitched out of a no-out, bases-loaded jam in the sixth inning of the Trojans' 3-2 OIA playoff victory over Moanalua, getting a strikeout and making a diving catch to start a double play. He then struck out eight in six innings to help Mililani defeat 'Aiea, 4-2, to earn third place.

King Kekaulike track and field
Won the long jump with a leap of 17 feet, 9 1/2 inches and the triple jump with a mark of 36-1 at the Island Movers State Championships.

Kealakehe tennis
Teamed with Nainoa DePontes to defeat Punahou's Chris Iwamura and Matt Nakagawa, 6-3, 7-6 (4), to win the Carlsmith Ball State Doubles Championship.

• JASON CHING
Punahou track and field
Senior won the high jump with a leap of 6 feet, 6 inches, setting a school record and beating his personal best by four inches. Also won the triple jump with a leap of 45 feet, 7fl inches.

• NAINOA DEPONTES
Kealakehe tennis
Teamed with Michael Chan to defeat Punahou's Chris Iwamura and Matt Nakagawa, 6-3, 7-6 (4), to win the Carlsmith Ball State Doubles Championship.

• LAURAN DIGNAM
Iolani track and field
Senior tied a state meet record by winning five gold medals, including a record-breaking run of 25.04 seconds in the 200-meter dash, to help the Raiders win their first girls state track championship. She won the 100, 200, 400 and anchored the winning 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams.

Seabury Hall tennis, track
Senior advanced to the state quarterfinals in tennis before losing to eventual champion Robbie Lim, then won the 800 with a time of 1 minute, 59.81 seconds and took third in the 1,500 with a time of 4:17.16 at the Island Movers State Championships.

• TIA FERGUSON
Seabury Hall track and field
Sophomore won the 1,500 with a time of 4 minutes, 44.47 seconds and the 3,000 with a time of 10:16.95 at the Island Movers State Championships.

• GINGER GRAVELLE
Iolani basketball
Sophomore scored 18 points in a 54-51 victory over Sacred Hearts, then had 18 points again in a 60-44 win over Maryknoll that clinched the ILH's third state tournament berth for the Raiders.

Senior set records in the 1,500 and 3,000 at the Island Movers State Championships. He ran the 1,500 in a time of 4:05.79 and the 3,000 in 9:01.6.

Won the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 1 inch and the 100 hurdles with a time of 15.53 seconds at the Island Movers State Championships.

Pitched a one-hitter with seven strikeouts to lead the Surfriders to a 7-2 victory over Roosevelt and their third straight OIA championship.

Freshman teamed with sister Kim to defeat Iolani's Allison and Jenna Ishii, 6-1, 6-1, for the Carlsmith Ball State Doubles Championship.

Freshman teamed with sister Heidi to defeat Iolani's Allison and Jenna Ishii, 6-1, 6-1, for the Carlsmith Ball State Doubles Championship.

Baldwin basketball
Sophomore scored 17 points to lead the Bears to a 39-32 overtime victory over Lahainaluna and the MIL championship.

Junior pitched a five-hitter and hit a pair of two-run homers to help the Rough Riders defeat 'Aiea, 6-4, and earn only their second trip to the OIA championship game since 1989.

Senior defeated No. 1 seed Michelle Pautler of Hawai'i Prep, 6-3, 6-4, to win the Carlsmith Ball State Championship.

Kahuku basketball
Scored 11 points in a 45-36 OIA semifinal victory over Moanalua and 19 points in a 55-50 championship game loss to Kalaheo.

Punahou boys tennis
Defeated Farrington's Anthony Ilagan, 2-6, 7-6 (4), 7-5, to win the Carlsmith Ball State Championship.

• CHRIS MOLS
Roosevelt baseball
Senior went 2-for-4 and struck out 14 in seven innings to help the Rough Riders defeat Castle, 8-3, in the OIA quarterfinals, then went 1-for-3 with a double as Roosevelt edged 'Aiea, 6-4, to earn its second OIA title game appearance since 1989.

In her first game action in two months, senior scored 14 points with four 3-point baskets in a 54-51 victory over Sacred Hearts, then had 16 points to help the Raiders defeat Maryknoll, 60-44, to earn the ILH's third state tournament berth.

Senior outfielder went 2-for-2 with a double in the Trojans' 3-2 OIA playoff victory over Moanalua, had a double in a 5-4 quarterfinal win over Kahuku and went 2-for-4 in a 4-2 victory over 'Aiea for third place.

Punahou water polo
Senior scored four goals to lead the Buffanblu to a 15-4 victory over Iolani and their sixth straight ILH championship.

• JASON RIVERS
St. Louis track and field
Junior won the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.05 seconds and the 200 with a time of 22.09 at the Island Movers State Championships.

• KEONI RUTH
Kamehameha baseball
Went 3-for-3 with two RBIs to help the Warriors defeat Mid-Pacific, 6-4, and win the ILH championship.

• KAMAILE SANTOS
Kailua baseball
Senior allowed one hit in four innings and went 4-for-4 with three doubles and three RBIs in a first-round OIA playoff victory over Campbell, got the save and went 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in a 5-3 quarterfinal win over Wai'anae, earned another save and hit the go-ahead sacrifice fly in a 3-2 semifinal victory over Mililani, and went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in a 7-2 championship game win over Roosevelt.

Kalaheo basketball
Scored 14 points in a 43-20 OIA semifinal victory over Pearl City and 19 points to help the Mustangs hold off Kahuku, 55-50, to win their fifth straight league championship.

• LEAH WHITING
Waiakea golf
Senior shot rounds of 74 and 75 for a total of 5-over 149 at Hawai'i Prince Golf Club to win the David S. Ishii Foundation State Championship.

BRANDON ALA, Kamehameha track and field — Senior won the discus with a throw of 174 feet, 11 inches at the Island Movers State Championships.
MARCUS FELDER, Pearl City track and field — Won the long jump with a leap of 20 feet, 11fl inches at the Island Movers State Championships.
ASHLEE FELY, Kahuku track and field — Won the discus with a throw of 132 feet, 2 inches at the Island Movers State Championships.
NATALIE FUJIMOTO, Punahou track and field — Won her third straight state championship in the shot put with a mark of 41 feet, 10 1/2 inches.
RYAN GUILLERMO, St. Louis track and field — Won the 100 hurdles with a time of 15.01 seconds at the Island Movers State Championships.
ANTHONY ILAGAN, Farrington tennis — Is believed to be the first tennis player in school history to reach the state singles championship, where he lost to Punahou's Robbie Lim in three sets.
JESSE LEE, Kamehameha track and field — Won the 300 hurdles with a time of 39.10 seconds at the Island Movers State Championships.
KEPUA LEE, Moanalua basketball — Scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Menehune to a 45-35 victory over Pearl City in the OIA third-place game.
MATT LINDER, King Kekaulike track and field — Won the 400 with a time of 49.88 seconds at the Island Movers State Championships.
PIPPA MACDONALD, Punahou track and field — Won the 800 with a time of 2 minutes, 15.72 seconds at the Island Movers State Championships.
AMY MALINOWSKI, St. Joseph track and field — Won the 300 hurdles with a time of 45.51 seconds at the Island Movers State Championships.
NICOLETTE ROWE, Hilo track and field — Won the pole vault with a mark of 10 feet, 6 inches at the Island Movers State Championships.
DANE UPERESA, Punahou track and field — Senior won the shot put with a mark of 52 feet, 11 inches at the Island Movers State Championships.
LINDEN WADA, Baldwin track and field — Won his second straight state pole vault championship with a mark of 14 feet even.
