The U.S. Labor Department has awarded the University of Hawai'i's Center on Disability Studies a nearly $400,000 grant to expand training programs and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
The university said in a written statement it will use the money to pay for programs at its One-Stop Career Center. Specifically, the money will help pay for development of Web-based access to services from all agencies that serve the disabled through One-Stop Career Centers.
