Tonight's Must-See

• "Friends," 7 p.m., NBC. Wrapping up a terrific "Friends" year, it's time for Rachel to have her baby. Ross, the baby's father, arrives in full fret. As other women keep delivering, Rachel has a marathon labor. Meanwhile, Chandler finally decides he wants a baby. He'll start the project instantly if he and Monica can find an empty hospital room. Phoebe is attracted to a handsome patient. Joey helpfully decides to screen him — posing as his soap-opera character, Dr. Dirk Ramoray.

• "Our Heroes, Ourselves," 7 p.m., Lifetime. Marlo Thomas hosts this stirring special, introducing four women who have done the extraordinary. Diane Wilson lives in Sea Drift, Texas, as a commercial fisherwoman. Then she read that her county had the country's highest rate of toxic disposal. She began a campaign that led to a cleanup. Then there's Maria Gomez Murphy, the daughter of Mexican immigrants. She landed a Stanford scholarship and now runs a medical clinic in Nogales, Ariz., along the Mexican border. Others are Isis Sapp-Grant, a former gang leader now working with teens, and Jaki-Lyn Taylor, 19, lobbying for better foster care.
