COMING UP

Basketball

June 2 — Junior Basketball Hawai'i. Girls and boys clinic at 'Aiea District Park Gym. For ages 8-17. Times, session 1 (ages 8-13) 12:15-2:00 p.m., session 2 (ages 14-17) 2:15-4:15 p.m. Fee: $80 per child. Information: Glenn Takara 598-9340.

Fitness

June 7-8 — Hawai'i Athletic Trainers' Association Ninth Annual Symposium. At University of Hawai'i Athletic Complex. Fee: $100 (non HATA members), $75 (members), $50 (student). Information: www.hawaii-ata.org.


Football

Running

May 26 — Central O'ahu 10-Mile Run, Sponsored by the Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club. Registration at Stoneman Field, Schofield Barracks beginning at 6:10 a.m. Race will begin at 7 a.m. Fee: $5 for non-members; $2 for Mid-Pacific Road Runners members. Information: 295-6777.


Softball

June 5 — Aug. 2 — Summer Hitting Lessons. At 'Aiea Hitting Tunnel. Baseball and softball. For ages 6-18. 45-minute sessions once a week. Fee: $155 per month or $275 for two months. Space limited to first 18 people. Information: Dean Sato, 848-8282.


Swimming

June 22 — Eyecatcher Swim Series. Raging Isle Sprint. Sunset Beach to Pipeline, 1 mile. Fee: $25. Early bird entry for all four Eyecatcher series events. Information: Chris Gardner, 372-8885.


Track and Field

Triathlon
