FUN HOUSE
Our ministry of meager portions

My sister, Jennifer, took her daughter, Sara, to her Christian church for the first time when Sara was 4. Jennifer promised Sara that they would go out to lunch when church was over.

When they sat down after communion, Sara said, "Mommy that was good, but can we have some more lunch?"

And just this past Ash Wednesday, when they went to church and gave an offering when the basket was passed, Sara (who is now 6) asked, "Do we really have to pay for the ashes?"
