Expo unveils new ways to pamper your pet

Prime Time Pets offers a wide selection of these eye-catching, durable collars at craft fairs islandwide.

From plastic Nukkler massagers to smoked knuckle bone snacks, cockatoo swings to doggie glucosamine, the Pet Expo at Blaisdell Exhibition Hall was well stocked with the newest, nuttiest pet products.

Here's a sampling of what we found:

• Nukkles — These knobby, palm-sized massage tools are made of flexible plastic that adapts to the soft contours of your cat or dog's body. • Designer collars — Prime Time Pets offers a wide selection of these eye-catching, durable collars at craft fairs islandwide. Designs include fish, pigs, shamrocks, peace signs, holiday motifs and many more. Cost: $6-$11.

• InflamAway — This chewable glucosamine supplement helps reduce pain and inflammation for dogs with hip or joint problems. According to manufacturer KR Natural Pet Products, it also helps to rebuild damaged joints and adds to joint fluid for better mobility. Recommended for dogs age 5 and older.
