Tonight's Must-See

"Gilmore Girls" season finale, 5 p.m., WB (seen on KFVE). The second season of this entertaining series ends with everyone pondering romance. Sookie (Melissa McCarthy) and Jackson (Jackson Douglas) are getting married, but just before the nuptials, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) asks surprise visitor Christopher (David Graham) to be her date. Meanwhile, Rory (Alexis Bledel) — in the middle of running for senior class vice president — gets a surprise visit from Jess (Milo Ventimiglia).

Of Note

Academy of Country Music Awards, 7 p.m., CBS. Reba McEntire is host in a year that's particularly strong among newcomers. The new-female category has Tammy Cochran, Carolyn Dawn Johnson and Cyndi Thomson; new-male has Chris Cagle, Blake Shelton and Phil Vassar.

"My Wife and Kids," 7 p.m., ABC. Michael and Jay renew their wedding vows.

"The Most Outrageous Game Show Moments," 7 p.m., NBC. The network calls it part of its 75th-anniversary celebration. But the hour mostly has clips of non-NBC shows.

"The Simpsons," 7 p.m., Fox. Homer finds himself elevated to Police Chief Wiggum's job. That's fine until he confronts a mobster.

"Celebrity Boxing 2," 7:30 p.m., Fox. One match pits Joey Buttafuoco against the wrestler Chyna (Joanie Laurer). Another has Manute Bol (7-foot-7 and skinny) and the horizontal William "Refrigerator" Perry.
