| Giuseppe Bernat hugs his wife, Elaine, after almost seven months at sea aboard the Pearl Harbor-based cruiser Port Royal, which took part in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Anaconda in the North Arabian Sea. The Port Royal, with a crew of 410, returned home yesterday with the carrier USS John Stennis, which will stay at Pearl Harbor for a few days of R and R before continuing to its home port of San Diego. |
