MILDRED T. DEMELLO, 76, of 'Aiea, died May 21, 2002. Born in Ho'olehua, Moloka'i. A bookkeeper at Moanalua Shopping Center. Survived by daughters, Sandra Kealalio, Christina Manoi and Robyn DeMello; son, Wendell; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Shimabukuro, Thelma Takata, Tomiko Bright and Misayo Kekauoha. BECKY KEAHIAHI MOKUAU, 88, of Ho'olehua, Moloka'i, died May 17, 2002. Born in Honolulu. JAMES TADASHI NAKAMURA, 87, of Honolulu, died May 8, 2002. A veteran of 442nd RCT (232) Engineer and a federal employee retired from the U.S. Army. Survived by daughters, Shirley Horiuchi and Ellen Nakamura; son, Lloyd; three grandchildren; brothers, Mitsugi Tsutomu and Teruo Nakamura; sisters, Aylene Nabeta and Elsie Asuka. Private service. AARON J. "CHIEF" NEFF, 82, of Ho-nolulu, died May 19, 2002. Born in Honolulu. Retired district supervisor for the City and County of Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation.
