Weddings

Ana-Renee K. Catugal and Richard C. Terrado were married March 23 on Kailua Beach. The reception followed at Ocean Terrace Restaurant in the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. The bride (1994 Lahainaluna High, 1999 Brigham Young University-Hawai'i bachelor's), now Ana-Renee K.C. Terrado, and the groom (1994 Castle High) live in Kane'ohe.

Gayle Y. Nunokawa, daughter of Jack and Marjorie Nunokawa of Honolulu, and John Thom, son of Kenneth and Jacqueline Thom of Honolulu, were married April 12 at Central Union Church. The reception followed at the Sheraton Moana Surfrider Hotel. The bride, now Gayle Y. Thom, and the groom live in Honolulu.

Karen M. Ward, daughter of Jack and Ethel Ward of Kane'ohe, and Douglas C. Wrobel, son of Theodore and Joyce Wrobel of Kailua, were married Feb. 23 at Ihilani Resort. The reception followed at the resort. The bride, now Karen Wrobel, is a teacher. The groom is a dentist. They live in Hawai'i Kai.

Engagements

Linda Merz of Oro Valley, Ariz., and Ernie Lauae Kanekoa of Koloa, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Audrey Kalai Kanekoa, to Gordon Leonard Madrid Jr., son of Gordon Leonard Madrid Sr. and Cheryl Madrid of Tucson, Ariz. Audrey Kanekoa, of Tucson, is formerly of Honolulu. Gordon Madrid Jr., of Tucson, is a manager of a tire company. They plan to marry June 5 in Honolulu.

Dawn Payton and Mark Joseph Bushue have announced their engagement. Payton, of Tilton, Ill., formerly of Kahuku, is the daughter of Michael and Dorene Payton of Kahuku and Mary Ann Rodrigues of Waialua. She is a clerk. Bushue, of Covington, Ind., is the son of Barbara Bushue of Covington and the late Arlin Bushue. He is a computer programmer. They plan to marry July 27 in Honolulu.
