Movie Openings

"The Importance of Being Earnest": Colin Firth and Rupert Everett star, and Reese Witherspoon and Frances O'Connor are the women they love in this adaptation of Oscar Wilde's classic comedy. Opens tomorrow at Varsity Twin. (PG).

"The sum of All Fears": Ben Affleck takes over for Harrison Ford as Tom Clancy's CIA hero Jack Ryan. This time he's faced with right-wing renegades in possession of a nuclear weapon, bringing the United States and Russia to the brink of war. Co-starring Morgan Freeman. "Undercover brother": Eddie Griffin has the title role as a low-rent private eye with a 1970s sense of style. The brother is recruited to infiltrate a sinister underground movement headed by The Man.
