Sesame Street Live tickets on sale

Sesame Street Live, the children's delight based on the television show, is returning to Hawai'i with a production entitled "Everyone Makes Music," opening June 13 at the Blaisdell Arena.

The production, from Vee Corp., showcases all the favorite characters, from Elmo to the Cookie Monster, from Big Bird to The Count, from Bert & Ernie to Rosita. Jenny, the new music teacher, will be the neighborhood newbie in residence.

The show, appealing to family audiences, embrace pop-culture tunes such as "The Hustle" and "You Should Be Dancing" to tuneful novelties such as "Crumb-a-Rumba."

A total of 14 performances are scheduled:

  • June 13, 7 p.m.
  • June 14, 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • June 15, 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • June 16, 2 p.m.
  • June 20, 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • June 21, 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • June 22, 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • June 23, 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Tickets: $15 and $11, on sale at the Blaisdell box office and Ticket Plus outlets; all seats $11 on opening night June 13.
