Tonight's Must-See

World Stunt Awards, 7 p.m., ABC. Here's an award ceremony in which even "Pearl Harbor" can be an winner. Instead of grumbling about thin plots and such, this ceremony simply honors stunts. There are nominations for "Corky Romano" and "Pearl Harbor" (three of them, in fact) and "The Animal" and more. "Rush Hour II" leads with nine nominations. "Apocalypse Now Redux" (yes, the re-release of the 1979 film) and "The Fast and the Furious" have seven each. There are 14 categories, including ones for driving, working with animals and working with water.

"Crossfire Trail" (2001) at 8 p.m., "Last Stand at Saber River" (1997) at 10 p.m., "The Shadow Riders" (1982) at midnight; all on TNT. Something wonderful happens when Tom Selleck steps into a western. His face, body and voice fit the lean, spare world of the cowboy. In "Crossfire Trail" he's a weary guy who must break the bad news to a friend's widow (Virginia Madsen). In "Last Stand at Saber River" he leaves the Civil War to start a homestead with his family. And in "Shadow Riders" he and Sam Elliott must ride against Confederate soldiers.

Of Note

"Dark Angel," 7 p.m., Fox. Max's mind is being messed with by a telekinetic villain.

"The X-Files," 8 p.m., Fox. Two escaped mental patients are suspected of murder by satanic ritual.

"The Silence of the Lambs" (1991), 6 p.m., USA Network. If "X-Files" seems too tame, try this story about an FBI trainee who needs information from a brilliant and nasty prisoner. Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins won Oscars for their roles in this film and "Silence" won the Academy Award for best picture.

"Maybe It's Me," 7:30 p.m., WB. Molly's grandmother is preparing a funeral for herself. The problem is that it would include a relative (played by Naomi Judd) who is feuding with Molly's mom (Julia Sweeney).
