Aloha Airlines opens latest route

The first flight in Aloha Airlines' new daily route between Maui and Vancouver, British Columbia, is scheduled to arrive today at Kahului Airport.

Aloha announced in May that it would add three daily flights to Maui from Burbank, Calif., Phoenix and Vancouver. Aloha's Phoenix-to-Kahului route, via Orange County, began in July. The nonstop Burbank flights are set to begin in February.

The flight is scheduled to arrive about 2:12 p.m.
