Stowers rallies No. 8 Iolani past Damien in ILH, 23-12

Raynold Stowers rushed for 237 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 8 Iolani to a 23-12 victory over Damien in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II football game at Iolani field yesterday.

Iolani is 4-2, Damien 0-6.

Ranson DeCosta ran 10 yards for a touchdown and completed a 28-yard pass to Andrew Canoy for another score as Damien took a 12-0 halftime lead.

Stowers scored on runs of 8 and 25 yards in the third quarter, and on a 5-yard run in the fourth. Iolani kicker Jason Keanini added a 27-yard field goal in the third quarter.
