Weddings

Jocelyn W. Loring, daughter of Scott and Kathryn Loring of Mill Valley, Calif., and Francis E. Smith IV, son of Ned and Barbara Smith of Kailua, were married June 15 in Belvedere, Calif. A reception followed. The bride (1992 Redwood High, University of Puget Sound bachelor's), now Jocelyn W. Smith, formerly of Mill Valley, is a registered client service associate. The groom (1993 Punahou, University of Puget Sound bachelor's), formerly of Kailua, is an account manager. They live in Bellevue, Wash.

Jocelin Minnierose Perry, daughter of Victoria Lutao Fuertes of Honolulu, and Kell Kiyomi Matsuda, son of Jean Emiko Arakaki of Kapa'au and the late Takeo "Take" Matsuda, were married Aug. 24 at SGI-USA Hawaii Culture Center. A reception followed at the Renaissance Ilikai Waikiki Hotel. The bride (1988 McKinley High), now Jocelin M. Matsuda, formerly of Honolulu, is an insurance adjustment examiner. The groom (1987 Kohala High, Kapi'olani Community College associate's) is a plant nursery production supervisor. They live in Kapa'au.

Donita Anne Wells, daughter of Larry and Judith Wells of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Scott Kiyoshi Shimabukurro, son of Reuben and Gail Shimabukuro of Honolulu, were married June 29 in Moore, Okla. A reception followed. The bride (1993 Westmoore High, 1997 Oklahoma Baptist University bachelor's), now Donita Anne Shimabukuro, formerly of Oklahoma City, is an elementary school teacher. The groom (1989 Kaiser High, 1994 Pacific University bachelor's, 2002 University of Hawai'i-Manoa master's) is a health and physical education teacher. They live in Kaimuki.
