Tube Notes

Tonight's Must-See

"Carrie," 7 p.m., NBC. Stephen King's story offered the ultimate teen angst, exploding on prom night. The 1976 movie (which airs at 7 p.m. Wednesday on TNT) drew raves for actress Sissy Spacek and director Brian De Palma. Now comes this remake with Angela Bettis in the title role. Rena Sofer plays her supporter and Patricia Clarkson is the overbearing mom.


Of Note

"Boston Public," 7 p.m., Fox. Elizabeth Pena plays the new superintendent battling Guber.

"24" rerun, 8 p.m., FOX. In a late change, the network will rerun last week's sensational season-opener tonight.

"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. Ray decides Debra can have one bathroom to herself — a move he soon regrets.

"The Pact," 9 & 11 p.m., Lifetime. Megan Mullally ("Will & Grace") and Henry Czerny play a couple who crumble when their daughter makes a suicide pact with the neighbor boy.
