Lecture to focus on life sciences

"The Life Sciences/Biotech Industry: Today's Challenges and Opportunities" will be the topic of the next University of Hawai'i College of Business Administration's Kipapa i ke Ala Lecture Series Nov. 19.

Silicon Valley biotech venture capitalists will take part in a panel discussion on the future of the life-sciences industry and opportunities for Hawai'i in this sector.

Panelists include Robin Bellas of Morgenthaler Ventures, Samuel Colella of Institutional Venture Partners and Roger Quy of Technology Partners. The panel will be moderated by biotech attorney Richard Sherman of Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel and Hawaii Biotech.
