Queen's Health Management, which was acquired by Medical Data Exchange Corp. in August, has changed its name to MDX Hawai'i.
Queen's Health was a part of the Queen's Health Systems and handled third-party administration for health insurers before it was sold.
MDX Hawai'i said it has retained 19 former Queen's Health workers, and will continue to provide the same services from its offices at Restaurant Row. The company offers a network of providers, medical management, claims processing and customer services. It provides healthcare coverage for 25,000 members.
MDX said it will also continue to process temporary disability insurance claims payments for clients.
