The body of a 32-year-old man was found at Ala Moana Beach Park yesterday.

Police said there were no signs of foul play and classified the case as an unattended death.

Officers were called to an area near McCoy Pavilion about 12:20 p.m., where they found the body on the ground. Investigators believe the man was homeless. Officials did not disclose his name.

Man hit on H-1 has skull injury

A 28-year-old man struck Tuesday night by a sport utility vehicle on H-1 Freeway remained in critical condition at The Queen's Medical Center today with a fractured skull.

Witnesses saw the man trying to cross the freeway when he fell before he was struck by a 2001 Dodge Durango at 7:20 p.m. in the center lane of the roadway, police said.

The accident happened on H-1 three-tenths of a mile west of the Gulick Avenue overpass.

Police closed the freeway and detoured cars to the Middle Street off-ramp for more than two hours.

Crash victim, 82, remains critical

An 82-year-old man injured in a two-car collision Tuesday on Jarrett White Road remained in critical condition today at The Queen's Medical Center. The 8:26 a.m. collision in Moanalua involved a car, in which the man was a front-seat passenger, hitting another car turning left onto Mahiole Street. No other injuries were reported.

Police arrest 4 in stolen truck

Two men, a woman and a girl were arrested Tuesday in Waipahu after police found a handgun in a stolen truck they were occupying.

An officer at 11:55 p.m. noticed the truck without a front license plate parked in the designated "Weed and Seed" crime-prevention area in Waipahu, police said.
