Lee tumbles to 62nd at PGA's 'Q' school

Waipahu's Regan Lee dropped into a tie for 62nd yesterday in the PGA Tour Qualifying School Second Stage. It is being played at Black Horse Course in Seaside, Calif.
After opening with a 73, Lee shot a 79 in the second round. He is 14 shots behind leader Gary Hallberg.
The low 21 scores and ties after tomorrow's final round advance to the final stage.
At the Champions Tour Qualifying School Regional in Calimesa, Calif., Kaua'i's Dan Nishimoto moved into a tie for seventh with a second-round 73 at PGA Southern California Golf Club. At 151, Nishimoto is seven back of leader Tom Fortuna (70-144).
A total of 15 players will advance to the qualifying finals, along with five alternates.
At the Futures Tour Qualifying Tournament in Florida, Hawai'i's Anna Umemura and Summerset Lovett shot in the 80s to fall far back of leader Lisette Lee.
Lee is at 4-under-par 140 halfway through the 72-hole qualifying. Umemura shot 81 yesterday to drop into a tie for 59th, at 154. Lovett (83) is at 158.
