Tonight's Must-See

"The Drew Carey Show," 8 p.m., ABC. At his best, Drew Carey has provided terrific comedy moments. Even now — in what seems to be his show's final season — he can help fun-starved Fridays. As usual this season, "The Drew Carey Show" will open with a musical bit. This one is from the Goo Goo Dolls. And as usual, Carey is on a quest to find a wife. He's hired Larry, a former co-worker, as matchmaker. Larry is played by Ian Gomez, the delightful actor who has also been a regular on "Felicity" (as Javier) and "Norm" (as Danny) and has been a guest on "Whose Line." At one point, Gomez had three TV roles simultaneously. He could help make this fun.

Of Note

Na Wahine O Ke Kai," 8 p.m.,Olelo, Oceanic 53. The Sept. 29 world championship of outrigger canoe racing for women, a Moloka'i-to-O'ahu race, sponsored by Hawaii Modular Space, comes to television. Don't miss it.
