Missing Mililani girls found
Two girls who were reported missing Friday in Mililani have been found unharmed and returned to their families.
Savannah Scott, 16, and Kelsey Kila, 15, were found Friday night, police said.
The parents of the two girls reported them missing Friday afternoon after they wandered off after a day outing from Mililani High School.
The families were worried the girls had gone off into the woods near Mililani and become lost.

Tour de Cure route altered
Rockslide work at Makapu'u has forced the American Diabetes Association, Hawai'i to alter the route for its Bud Light Tour de Cure bicycle fund-raiser.
The event is set for next Sunday.
Instead of four round-trip routes, participants will have two, with turnaround points before the Makapu'u rockfall mitigation project in Waimanalo.
Participants will choose from a 25-kilometer route (about 15.5 miles) that starts at Kapi'olani Park and turns around at Maunalua Bay, and a 50-kilometer route (about 30 miles) that turns around at Sandy Beach. Call 947-5979.
Award honors unsung heroes
Nominations are being accepted for the 2003 Ola Pono Awards to honor unsung heroes from around the state who make Hawai'i a safer, healthier or more drug-free place to live.
Nominees can be volunteers, teachers, parents, businesses, civic clubs or church groups. Honorees will receive $1,000 to be donated to the charitable organization of their choice.

Donations for parade sought
The Waimanalo community is planning its Christmas Parade and is seeking participants and donations for the event, which will start at 10 a.m. Dec. 14 at Humuniki Street and end at Waimanalo District Park.
Applications to participate are due Friday.
Make the donation check to Waimanalo Christmas Parade and deposit it at any American Savings Bank, or mail to Parade Committee, 41-640 Poalima St., Waimanalo, HI 96795.

Kiwanis meeting to focus on Iraq
History professor Phil Hagstrom will speak about Iraq at a Kiwanis Club of Kane'ohe meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at Flamingo Restaurant, Windward City Shopping Center.
The meeting includes a no-host dinner, and the public is invited.
Hagstrom will discuss "Iraq: Its history and what has brought us to our current situation with Iraq."
