It's that time of year again, when chef Grant Sato of Kapi'olani Community College offers a noncredit cooking basics series for the home cook that mimics what's learned by culinary professionals in the school's respected program. In addition, Sato has invited a number of other professionals to teach classes in their areas of expertise. These courses are so popular that they fill up fast, and you've got to pre-register with at least two weeks' notice in order to allow KCC time to purchase supplies.
