MALVENA LENORE "BILLIE" SCHEFTEL, 88, of Honolulu, died Nov. 7, 2002. Born in Denver, Colo. Served as a U.S. Army nurse in 1940-47; moved to Honolulu in 1969 with her late husband, Lawrence, a retired Army officer and immigration attorney. Survived by son, Paul. Private service held. RICHARD I. SENONES, 75, of Mililani, died Nov. 9, 2002. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. Retired from U.S. Army and Comsat and also an avid H.A.M. operator (KH6JEB) for more than 30 years.
