ALBERT "POPS" W.F. CHONG SR., 84, of Waipahu, died Nov. 13, 2002. Born on Kaua'i. A retired City and County of Honolulu heavy equipment operator. SWEETHEART KEALAULA HARRIS, 65, of Mililani, died Nov. 9, 2002. Born in Keaukaha, Hilo, Hawai'i. Retired housekeeping supervisor for the USS Bowfin. JAMES EDWARD McGINLEY SR., 86, of Waimanalo, died Nov. 12, 2002. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Served in the U.S. Army during WWII. MALVENA LENORE "BILLIE" SCHEFTEL, 88, of Honolulu, died Nov. 7, 2002. Born in Denver, Colo. Served as a U.S. Army nurse in 1940-47; moved to Honolulu in 1969 with her late husband, Lawrence, a retired Army officer and immigration attorney. Survived by son, Paul. Private service held. RICHARD I. SENONES, 75, of Mililani, died Nov. 9, 2002. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. Retired from U.S. Army and Comsat and also an avid H.A.M. operator (KH6JEB) for more than 30 years. SHOJI TAKAKI, 75, of Honolulu, died on Oct. 31, 2002. Born in Honolulu. A retired locksmith dba Honolulu Cutlery and Grinding Co.
