The singers/actors will play Hawai'i residents who befriend powerful businessman Mr. Majestyk (Morgan Freeman) and charismatic drifter Jack Ryan (Owen Wilson) in what the filmmakers call "a sexy noir thriller."

Also joining the cast of the Shangri-La Entertainment project: Bebe Neuwirth, Harry Dean Stanton and Scott Caan.

Principals already before the cameras include Gary Sinise, in the role of a wealthy developer, and Sara Foster, as a seductress with criminal intentions, as well as Charlie Sheen and Vinnie Jones.

The movie is directed by George Armitage ("Grosse Pointe Blank," "Miami Blues") and the script is based on the Elmore Leonard novel of the same name. The project is headquartered at the Turtle Bay Resort. Location filming began Oct. 28 around the North Shore, and is expected to continue through December.
