FUN HOUSE
Imaginary friends can disagree, too

My son, 4, has an imaginary friend he calls Bubble Buddy. Occasionally I will overhear him playing with his friend and will inquire about their playing, etc.

He always amuses me with responses like "He's sitting right next to you" or "Bubble Buddy wants to eat some, too."

One day, my son frantically came up to me and exclaimed that he and Bubble Buddy were having a fight. I told him not to fight with his friend, but to get along and play nicely.

A few minutes later, my son was again tugging at my shirt.

I finally asked him what the problem was. He gave me the most serious look and said: "I popped him."
