The 20th annual Vans Triple Crown of Surfing championship, now under way on O'ahu's North Shore, is among the most prestigious surfing contests in the world. The three surfing events held over a one-month period offer professional surfers some of the world's most challenging conditions. Hawai'i native Sunny Garcia, right, won the first event, the Vans Hawaiian Pro, earlier this month.
