EXPRESSIONS OF FAITH
Dream releasers wanted

By Wayne Cordeiro
New Hope Christian Fellowship O'ahu

WAYNE CORDEIRO

Everybody has one. It may be lying undiscovered or yet undetected, but everybody has one. It could be broken, undeveloped, or hidden beneath the rubble of past mistakes, but ...

Everybody has one.

It might be imprisoned by faulty character of our own doing or it could be paralyzed by others' disdain. Still everybody has one.

Everybody has a dream.

A dream of what they can be for God. It was divinely installed at his moment of choice. Like the crystalline keys that held Clark Kent's true identity as Superman, so too this God-deposited dream in each of us contains our assignment, our DNA, our potential and ordained destiny. Dormant within lies the potential to become all God destined you to be.

But for many, those dreams lie hidden, captured by insecurity, imprisoned under false expectations, or impeded by the fear of failure. Yet the dream still resides within each of us, a dream of what we can be for God!

There are millions of dreams that lie captive in the hearts of people all around us. This dream, divinely wired into our souls, holds our assignment, our passion, and our greatest potential. It may come in the form of a dream that sees you making a difference in the world, or to have a God-glorifying family. It may be to have a business based on principles of integrity, to have a ministry that will change lives, or to raise children in the ways of God. But whatever those dreams may be, the capacity to fulfill them lies within each of our hearts

Just imagine if those dreams could be released! Imagine what could happen in our churches, in our families, in our communities!

God is issuing a call for dream releasers.

Whether you are a parent, pastor, youth worker, uncle, aunt, business leader, teacher, or social worker, your greatest contribution may be as a dream releaser in someone's life. A dream released can lift an Abraham Lincoln from abject poverty to the Oval Office. It can redeem a hopeless Helen Keller from her dark, mute life sentence to a world-renowned author mastering six languages and the guest

of kings and queens. It can make a bicycle fly on the wings of the wind at Kitty Hawk. It can believe that a young shoe salesman could become a D.L. Moody.

The world is crying out for Dream Releasers, those who will not be judges of character but coaches of character. The next generation of leaders awaits the rise of dream releasers.

Will you apply?
