Landmark signs with mentors

Advertiser staff and news services

Landmark Systems has become a client of HiBeam, a Hawai'i business mentoring group that helps startup technology companies get venture funding.

Landmark is the sixth client of HiBeam, a 2-year-old organization of venture capitalists, lawyers, accountants and other advisers that has helped raise millions of dollars for its client companies.

Landmark, a Silicon Valley company that moved to Hawai'i this summer, is designing commercial applications for wireless technology that was earlier developed for the military. Its chief executive officer is Tareq Hoque, former chief executive of Adtech. Landmark's founder is Ike Nassi, former chief technology officer at Apple.
