FRANK GRANGER CANNON, 81, of Honolulu, formerly of California, died Sept. 25, 2002. Retired drilling business owner; World War II Purple Heart recipient; pioneer drag racer, including one of the first to break the 200-mph mark; operator of one of the first surfboard shaping machines on Maui; and a glider and tow-plane enthusiast.
